Here is the recipe:
500 gr (4 cups) of flour
500 gr (4 cups) of sugar
1 package of yeast for cakes
200 g (2 cups) of raisins
milk and brown sugar as required
Mix flour, sugar, eggs and yeast into a dough. Add the raisins at the end.
Divide the dough in 8 equal parts and roll them into small sausage-like pieces.
Put the rolls on two baking trays with enough distance between them.
Paint them with milk and sprinkle over some brown sugar.
Bake them in the oven on 200 °C (390° F) for 15 minutes.
Cut them when cold.
